There are 12,500 tiny pieces in one standard 5’ x 7’ Pencil rug. Each small fabric swatch is hand cut and sewn onto strips that are bound together then backed with a durable, non-slip, 100% washable action backing. We chose this colorfast and stain-resistant fabric because of its softness and durability.
